Eleanora MacPherson Combined Division - St. John's
Our Division contributed over ten thousand hours of service to the community last year.
We have over 100 members that receive continuing training in advanced first aid, CPR, Oxygen Administration, and Automatic External Defibrillation.
Our division is equipped with a 1996 Ford Tristar Type II Ambulance, our Mobile First Aid Post. This vehicle is outfitted much like ground ambulances in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
In addition, we also operate a custom built Major Events Unit that our members can use to provide first aid in a warm and sheltered enviroment. This unit is also available to respond to
any disaster situation that may arise in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The third vehicle in our fleet is our mini-van which is decked out in the traditional St. John Ambulance colors.
Our division also has two PhysioControl LifePak 500 Automated External Defibrillators, that we take to all of our public
duties. Early defibrillation is essential in the successful treatment of cardiac arrest.
Members from this division successfully utilized one of these LifePak 500 defibrillators to save a life.
New Members
Please note: Due to the size of our division, we only accept volunteers at certain times during the year. For more information email: Conrad Tulk.
